Job description

Brand Designer at Reshape Biotech

At Reshape, we don’t just challenge the status quo of biotech today. Our goal is to redefine biotechnology research for the future. We believe that biology holds the key to a sustainable future. We want to provide the most innovative companies with the tools to decode nature in order to address some of humanity’s biggest challenges — from revolutionizing alternative protein production to pioneering sustainable agriculture practices.

Could you see yourself working at Reshape? Read on.

You will be part of our small but tight-knit Marketing team

Hopefully, you know what marketing is – we do all that and more in our department. Design is a big part of our daily work. Still, we’re no Bob Rosses 🎨That’s why we need you – a professional designer, a virtuoso of the drawing tablet, a biotech Michelangelo (the painter, not the Ninja Turtle). You get the picture 😏

Someone who can help us best illustrate our outward-facing communication. This could be your chance to shape Reshape’s brand in a rapidly changing space.

Oh, and another thing about us: we’re a small, tight-knit team consisting of 3 ½ people (three full-time and one part-time) as of today. So, we’re looking for someone highly collaborative and who can make decisions in uncharted areas, as that is where we are. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who wants to do great, meaningful things while having a good time.

The purpose of the role
As the Brand Designer, you will be responsible for shaping and managing the company's visual identity. You will lead the creation of all marketing and brand design assets, working closely with the commercial team to produce a wide range of materials, including website design, sales tools, event collateral, social media content, and advertising. In addition, you will have ownership of the brand book and Corporate Visual Identity (CVI), ensuring consistent and compelling branding across all platforms and materials.

This is what you will be doing:

  • Operate as the principal brand designer for the commercial team

  • Develop and implement visual creatives for different marketing channels and our website

  • Develop and maintain Reshape's visual identity and brand, championing brand consistency across all platforms

  • Collaborate closely with your peers in the marketing team to harmonize visuals and text

  • Take our video content strategy to the next level with motion graphics and video animation best practices (long and short form)

Job requirements

What we value:

  • You have 5 years of experience in a similar role

  • Experience creating visuals for websites, ads, social media, and videos

  • Experience developing a brand's visual identity from scratch

  • UX/UI design skills

  • Strong conceptual design skills and A/B testing designs

  • Experience operating the average designer's toolkit like Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.

We know this is a broad role, but we are not sticklers for requirements. If you have a solid background in visual design and share our vision for the future, we would love to hear from you.

What we offer:

  • A fun, informal, and fast-paced work environment in a rapidly growing organization.

  • Flexible working hours (but also expect flexibility in return).

  • An inclusive and social environment.

  • Competitive compensation.

  • Lunch, sodas, coffee, and snacks in the office.

  • Weekly company workouts and frequent social gatherings.

Why join Reshape?

We at Reshape are set on reinventing how biotechnology research is conducted. We believe that biology is the cornerstone of a sustainable future. We want to pioneer building innovative tools that help research teams everywhere decipher the complexities of nature so that we can tackle some of the great challenges we, as humans, are currently facing.

Our mission? To pioneer the future of lab automation and AI-powered analysis. This enables research teams to collaborate more effectively, automate repetitive tasks, and gives them access to more data than ever – so they can get back to doing science. This way, companies can accelerate the research pace and reduce time to market.

Yes, it's an ambitious mission. Establishing a new standard in biotechnology demands a dedicated team, so we're always keen to welcome new talent. Our diverse team of passionate professionals is primarily based at our Copenhagen HQ.

We value transparency, accountability, and tight-knit collaboration. These principles are the foundation of great products and critical components of a vibrant and successful organization—something we’ve been doing quite well until now.

If you step into a role at Reshape Biotech, your contributions could shape the future of biotechnology. Are you still excited about Reshape and see yourself in what’s outlined above? If the answer is yes, we’d love to hear from you!
